Forgot to write about this great concert I saw at the Yardbird Suite in Edmonton. It was called e.s.t., a trio of piano/electronics, stand-up bass and percussion. They were a great example of real modern jazz, not just a bunch of self-indulgent overplaying and tired cliches.
