Duran Duran made a solid comeback with the upcoming release of Red Carpet Massacre and the recent launch of its first video for the song "Falling Down." The video portrays the trend of models/starlets going to rehab for a week and then returning to a life of luxury. However, someone in the UK does not approve. The video has been banned from UK television as "too controversial" and the band is forced to film a tamer version to air in the UK. According to NME:

Geez. It's been ages since I've posted anything on MOG.
I guess I really just want to say that two of my favorite bands - Duran Duran and Radiohead - have both released amazing albums (relatively) recently.
Duran Duran's "Red Carpet Massacre" is a brilliantly fun electronic-pop album, and Radiohead's "In Rainbows" is their most consistent album since "OK Computer."
That's all.
This is scarey news for Duran Duran fans. It seems they've switched out their normal JT - John Taylor, that is - for the more frightening but way-less talented Justin Timberlake. Timbaland's also adding some flare to their new album, amd I can deal with him, even though at the moment he's a bit oversaturated in terms of producing other people's albums.
