Not gonna lie, I slept on Discovery HARD. I kept reading about them and kept forgetting to check them out. Friends raved about their debut album, and I missed it. So apologies for that. I just threw my iTunes on shuffle, and Discovery’s tune with Angel Deradoorian (of Dirty Projectors) came up. WOW. This album was actually a little bit of a let down, I was quite excited after hearing a few songs, but then after giving the whole album a spin.... well.... too much drum machine and auto-tuning (or whatever it is called) for me. It's sounds alot like an R&B album done club remix style. But there are a few great tracks along the way. The tempo changes on this one are particularly nice.
