On Tuesday I sent them this myspace email:"hey guys, i've been quietly obsessed with you guys for the last few months and have been actively searching the few remaining local record shops in the los angeles area for your cd and have come up empty each time. even went to amoeba records (which is pretty much record shop heaven) and they'd never even heard of you. all i've got is an (illegal) download of "in love with detail" but i'm dying to have a physical cd. are you guys ... i'm starting a campaign to introduce amoeba music to delorentos. for some insane reason, the hipster music capital of the world not only doesn't carry them, but they've never even fucking heard of them. it's a sad day when a musical nobody is hipper than the coolest place in town.

Song for Someone: The Frames - I LOVE this band – they are my favorite band if you held a gun to my head & forced me to choose ... They’re the Pixies on CRACK !!! Total junkie for them ;) The Devil Keeps Grinning: Gary Jules – I adore this singer/songwriter. His gentle guitar, his lovely voice, his quirky & brilliant turn of phrase – especially love the first verse of this song (Mad World got him noticed - but his original albums blow me away - Mad World rocks though).... Hey there MOGgers, what's shakin' on this fine Monday ??? Well, I'm shakin', my tushy to a band from Dublin called, yup, you guessed it, Delorentos. Now I wouldn't consider them acoustic generally, but if you head to this link, you will get to hear a really great acoustic version of Neon.
