I can't force myself to accept the digital music purchasing idea. I've purchased music through iTunes before, but it really irks me. I need to have the physical copy in my hands. I like the album booklets and inserts (and lyrics, sometimes), the hidden artwork behind a black CD holder piece, the CD artwork, the fact that if my hard drive crashes, I have something to listen to and I haven't lost my entire library. this last summer '07 was my first time seeing deftones live, it was at the rainbow ballroom in fresno california. i was excited and new i was gonna see an awesome show, but i wasnt prepared for what happened. it was the ten year anniversary of around the fur, so they decided to play the whole album from start to finish, it was amazing, then they played songs from saturday night wrist which were amazing as well. all in all this was the best time to see the deftones. love em... it's awesome when one of your favorite artists covers another of your favorites. i have a few that i would add to my list, and here's one. hope you like it. deftones covering weezer's "Say it Ain't So" : i agree with chino's comment at the end of the song, imo, a deftones/weezer tour would be made of win and awesome.
