So instead of washing dishes tonight, I decided it was more worthwhile to sit down and re-watch Death Cab for Cutie's Directions DVD. Basically, this was a collections of videos that went along with the Plans CD. I wish Youtube had a copy of the video for "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" without commentary — that has got to be the most uplifting and yet most wholly heartbreaking one of the bunch. I randomly buy songs from iTunes sometimes in the hopes of finding something new and I ended up getting I Will Follow You Into The Dark by Death Cab for Cutie. I liked so I bought the whole album. Now my favourite song is Crooked Teeth.

i had a dream the other night about the lead singer of this band, ben gibbard. all i recall is he was cutting my hair (and i actually had some), and he was putting blue and red in it, and it looked really cool. i woke up in an afterglow, and didn't want to get out of bed. sigh...
i have seen death cab 4 times now, and altho they're hella popular now, i still love `em.
