With the lack of real Punk nowadays I thought I'd go back to the 80's again. I've done the more mainline soundtracks so decided I wanted something else. Probably one of the best punk bands ever and they're not even British, with some of the best bass guitar you will ever hear in any genre, with a style that echoes punk, rock, thrash and jazz, the Dead Kennedy's were the political voice of punk in the 80's.

As a big fan and defender of the Dead Kennedys (I have to keep telling people that Jello Biafra's voice is actually perfect for the songs and not annoying), it pains me to realize that the Dead Kennedys were a key reason behind the torture porn horror film phenomen. P.S. I'm kinda insulted that in the "Genre" tab, Punk is not available. Just kinda insulted, I really don't care that much.
ok, i have never really checked out much in the way of video online, but this brings back some serious memories. Crashpryor's recent reference to the re-emergence of the bad brains got me thinking about searching for video in this direction. whatever people may think of jello biafra, the dead kennedys as a band kicked ass. this song was a great expression of how my friends and i felt about the s.f.p.d. and cops in general.
