These guys always slay me. Just gifted musicians with a great sense musicality. I am always entranced listening to their work and it is a wide musical terrain they traverse.
Enjoy.
Have you guys checked out the band Firewater? If you are in the L.A. area check them out at The Roxy in Hollywood on Saturday, June 7th!!
Gypsy music is cool, and these guys have a great take on it. Its been awhile since I've put a disc on repeat for multiple days on end, but I can't stop listening to it...

You're the Queen of all the surface streets
I'm a wiener boy, that you're here to meet
That's one of the lines??? Come on, such a pretty song and he's calling himself a wiener boy?

I don't need the moneyI couldn't care'Cause everything I want is standing right hereI would live on the streetIn a cardboard shackJust the worship the feetAnd the curve of your backYou'll be my only preoccupationOn a permanent vacation Now I will move these rocksFor you my loveI will tear them up out of the EarthAnd I will bend my spine'Til it's quitting time'Cause I know what your love is worth And I get to see DeVotchKa in just two weeks at Bumbershoot...I can't ...
