Sure it's funny but I was expecting more than that. I like Dawn Landes and while downloading this cover I was getting quite exited. Could this really be as good as I hoped it would be.Not a chance. I laughed a little bit but in the end that wasn't enough.
With little to no expectations of Dawn Landes we arrived at the Bell House ready to absorb whatever the beautiful New Yorker had to offer. Dawn's charm instantly spread contagiously through the room from the very start, hitting one person at a time as she stared and smiled at random members of the audience, hell, when our time came we were ready to get down on one knee.
There are plenty of reasons to like Dawn Landes: she plays the glockenspiel, has a background in sound engineering, covers the likes of Peter Bjorn & John and Tom Petty, and is married to fellow folky Josh Ritter.
