This is the new video for 'Jacket' by David Vandervelde who gives us some Ziggy-era Bowie rock minus the glam. This guy wears his 70s rock influences on his sleeve. Bowie, T-rex, ELO, you can hear it all in his music and with his new album 'The Moonstation House Band' he has really done his homework. David is a new discovery for me. LOVE this song. The vocals have a cool 'ween-like' quality to them, with much more straight forward lyrics. I have been listening this album, The Moonstation House Band all day today. I don't know much else about him, other then he works frequently with Jay Bennett who used to be in Wilco.
