All Music GuideHarry Warren has long been one of the most underrated of the great songwriters of the 1930s. On this trio set with bassist Bob Maize and drummer Jake Hanna, pianist Dave McKenna comes up with fresh ideas on such classics as "Nagasaki," "42nd Street," "I Only Have Eyes for You" and "Lulu's Back In Town," perfect material for his swinging style. The interpretations are consistently delightful and also include a three-song medley, "Carnival," and "We're in the Money" among the highlights. Recommended.
