Recently I downloaded a remix of the 80's song Tom's Diner, originally recorded by Suzanne Vega.
As I walked to work this morning the skies were a dark gray, a strange sight in Los Angeles in April. The rain tapped the hood of my coat as the remix beat on my eardrums... lyrics falling like rain, the eerie melody still familiar, and the jumbled up lyrics throwing me off as I side-step around the larger puddles.
