It's good to finally get some high adrenaline live performances at SxSW. Maybe it's the heat but most of the shows seem have a similar laid back rhythm so it falls to New Zealand band Cut Off Your Hands to inject some high octane stage performance into the night's proceedings.

"Happy As Can Be" - Cut Off Your Hands Put Phil Spector, the Beatles, and New Order in a blender and out comes "Happy As Can Be." (Well, it works in my blender.) There's the spacious, bashy wall of sound, the "Please Please Me" melody, and the deadpan yet also semi-melodramatic club vibe.
