Since I hardly MOG on Sunday, the cover thing gets lost on me. Not a huge loss, as I'm generally not a big fan of covers, as a whole. But while making a Valentine's mix for Melissa, I stumbled upon this delightful track, pairing the higher-than-heaven vocals of Curve's Toni Halliday with Georgia Moroder's pulsing disco anthem "I Feel Love" Ah yes, I feel it too. Bah, silly MP3 uploader isn't working right now, so you get a fansub video. The song still destroys, tho... MORE
I've postulated before, in these pages, that Garbage owes their entire career to the genius of Curve. Thing is, it really doesn't matter; they're both out there. It's time to make a choice, MOG Nation: do you prefer Garbage or Curve? Here's a taster for the uninitiated. Curve - Horror Head (from the album Doppelganger): Garbage - Vow (from their eponymous album): Choose for yourselves. Later on, I'll comment with a detailed analysis of my pick, beca... MORE
Hiya moggers, this is my first post, so be gentle with me... I've only discovered this place recently, and overall I'm liking it, in the sense that it's nice to be able to find new music and hunt down random musical directions with more of a "human" element than stuff like Last.fm or Pandora. A gift from God, a small creation A prized posession without limitations Behind these eyes what do you see that isn't already yours? In fact I never wanted anything more In fact I've never wanted anything less Oh well shouldn't treat me like a stranger Do you see I have the same effect only this time on you? Behind your eyes what can I see that isn't already you? Voices of angels I have known Behind these eyes what can I see that isn't already there? already... MORE

Curve split last year but for this ageing indie kid their music will live forever, as will my hopeless crush on Toni Halliday.
Today I'm so bummed out. My best friend for the past three months is totally dissing me. She's behaving really coldly towards me [brrrr]. I could have sworn that this type of behaviour was supposed to end at High School graduation. This song is the only thing making me feel even slightly better. Curve : Horror Head Other songs that don't help but can't hurt: Medicine - Time Baby III [Sounds of Medicine]Lush - Leaves Me Cold [Gala]The Jesus and Mary Chain - Reveren... MORE
