All Music GuideI Become Small and Go is a prime example of the effects the right producer can have on a band; the cuts "Empty Ships," "Dear Deadly" and "Wonderful Love" were all produced and mixed by John King of the Dust Brothers, and are far and away the three best songs on the LP. The rest of Creeper Lagoon's debut, however...misses King's distinctive touch...A mixed bag, to be sure, but I Become Small and Go still shows promise.
