I just wrote a story about her last week: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18984712/ She has an incredible voice and a very personal musical vision. Many of her songs sneak up on me, giving me goosebumps. She has a tour planned for New York, but nothing further at this time. Hope she makes it out west sometime soon.

This is much more eclectic than that description would suggest. She's been compared to Bjork and I'd agree that on some songs, she does sound a lot like Bjork.
