Okay, it's shameful how often I get music from watching Tv shows. At least I'm not watching MTV 24-7. Anyway, the Scrubs Vol 2 soundtrack is really good. I listend to Coling Hay on seeming repeat loop while on vacation. Mysteriously, it seems to go well with dealing with the family . . .

There have been a few songs lately that have been tugging at my already over-romanticized heart strings. But by far, the delivery, tone, and sheer melancholy/happiness in his voice gets me every time. I was watching one of those reruns of "Scrubs" on Comedy Central a week or two ago and I heard Colin Hay's "Overkill," which I hadn't heard in a really long time. I literally could not get the song out of my head after that. For days. I love that the guy who sang "Land Down Under" still has really good solo career these days. I love finding out little trivia bits and pieces like that - that so-and-so was a member of such-and-such-a-band in the 80s but is now doing his own ... MORE

Everything about this day blows.She's choosing to marry him (last paragraph for the details). So what I'm looking for is a good set of songs to make a sorta "breakup" playlist. This sucks, bigtime. I've spent countless days and months searching for jobs over the past 3 years. I just don't know why I haven't gotten a chance to work anywhere yet. But i've had soo soo many gigs. People call me in or message me to make flyer's, cd covers, logos, t-shirts, videos, commercials and skateboard graphics. I just don't know why I haven't landed a job. I guess i wasn't cut out for normal jobs, maybe i was meant to do what i was put here to do. And being called an artist is satis... MORE
