I've had it in the back of my mind to write about this version of this song for a while. For starters, this is a song that has been growing on me for a while...not like a fungus ;-) Just steadily becoming one of my favorite Coldplay songs of all time. I think the main things that I like are that it's piano driven, with understated guitar and drum work, both of which work together to highlight Chris Martin's voice. To be honest, I had only listened to Coldplay's singles or "Don't Panic" off the Gardenstate soundtrack. Just recently I decided to get there 3 albums since I liked their sound but just never really sat down to listen to a whole CD. Right now I'm stuck on Parachutes. Its such an amazing record.
