Clipse roar back to the spotlight today with the new video for "Fast Life." The tune is a smooooth summer roller; will sound amAzing in the whip - windows down cruisin' across the Bay under the stars... "Fast Life" is the lead single from Clipse's upcoming new album, The Re-Up Gang, due August 5th.
Now that's confidence. Hey Dizzee and Bun B, here's da G's.
The Clipse were smashin tracks loooong before Lord Willin'. I'll spare you my personal input and let wiki do the talking; "Clipse began its career in music in 1993 when the Thornton brothers met Pharrell Williams, one half of the production team The Neptunes. Impressed with their lyrical talents, Williams formed a working relationship with the duo. He eventually helped them secure a recording contract with Elektra Records in 1997. Under Elektra and with The Neptun... MORE

Clipse is dropping two platters on us this year — "Clipse presents: Re Up Gang" just came out, and "Till the Casket Drops" is promised for November release. Yeah boy! We ride limos too! "Fast Life" first single from Re Up Gang. And a lil double up. Here’s a track from Boston’s Special Teamz called "Back on [...]

The Clipse have left Jive and Star Trak and landed at Columbia Records in a 50/50 profit sharing venture. Their Re-Up Gang Records artists will be released via columbia and the Clipse will retain their master tapes, which is no easy feat. A new Clipse album can be expected in 2008, and we probably won't have to worry about ... MORE
There are very few things in life that mystify me. Like, how did Ludacris beat out The Roots for Best Rap Album at this year's Grammys? What's the deal with adults who've never tried an alcoholic drink? Why can't Carmen Electra keep a husband?
My latest addition to this list: how can it be that chucky dislikes Clipse? I saw her make a somewhat cutting comment about the duo on a post of hers several weeks back, and I've been scandalized ever since. Much like the woman he... MORE

Since I just bought the new album by Kenna, I figured I'd post a track from another Neptunes mentored artist, Clipse.
Here's a track from Hell Hath No Fury.
After what seems like a century long battle with their record label Jive, one half of the group told Toronto's Eye Weekly that the group were officially on the market for a new home. “Right now Clipse are free agents, There are a few labels that are interested” said Malice.
Understatement of the year maybe?
Although sales of their last album were incredibly disappointing, you have to consider the current climate of hip hop sales, and the fact that it's widely accepted... MORE

1- Crack-dealing is not all fun and gamesI’ve harboured this suspicion for years, but Clipse have finally have confirmed it: slinging rock has its downsides, too. Sure, there’s bling jewellery, fast cars, and loose women, but your co-workers want to kill you. As Malice puts it, “They be thinking nice car, nice crib/I be thinking, how long will these niggaz let me live”. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather keep my boring 9-to-5. At least when an office colleague stabs yo... MORE
5 - OutKast - IdlewildYes, I was a little disappointed - but that's because this is OutKast, and they set my expectations high. That being said, Big Boi's flow is as strong as ever, Andre 3000 totally gets weird points, and there still is something quite magical about when the two of them come together (even if it only happens on three songs!). 4 - Lupe Fiasco - Food and LiquorIt was a long wait, but Lupe's official debut proved his skills as an MC. Finding that bridge... MORE
