Cibo Matto is an Italian phrase that translates to "Crazy Food". What does that have to do with this song? Everything. My son was playing Jet-Set Radio Future and this came on and I was hooked. I had to find out more about this band. The album Viva La Woman turned out not to be my cup of tea (or sugar water) but this tune still gets stuck in my head.

Oh. My. God. I just watched "Lady in the Water" for the first time. Either my husband tivo'd it for me, or my tivo decided I might like it. But one of them was wrong. I'm not saying M. Night Shyamalan is not talented, but I feel like I just watched a two hour documentary about what happens when a young director makes some successful movies and then loses his mind. Have you seen it? Just a follow-up from my last post. I'm giving Stereotype A another shot. Everyone's comments inspired me to just suck it up and give it another shot. And man, I do like this album. :)

Isn't it a shame how some music can be ruined by the events in your life. I'm not sure if everyone has experienced this or not, but I have to assume so. Cibo Matto is a great band, and one of their albums "Stereotype A" has been completely ruined for me. I was listening to this album a lot during a particularly rough patch in my life (lots of uncertainty, in a bad relationship, no real direction, etc...).
