Can't remember who was asking me about Chuck Prophet, but the ex-Green on Red guitarist is one of my very favorite skewed (sort of) alt.country songwriters. We went to see him maybe a year ago, early show, all three of us, and I guess I was expecting something dark and mournful and bittersweet...but his show is actually kind of goofy.
