So, here's the thing, about five years ago, at my very first SXSW, I was sitting on the grass at Po-ke Joe's with songwriter Bill Foreman and my editor George Zahora, getting quietly blitzed (they were selling beer tickets 10 for $10) at the Hideout showcase of Chicago artists, and Chris Mills came on stage. Mail-man stopped by today and handed me a brown envelope from the US. Enclosed was a mixtape by the mog-infamous Rawkiddo. Not that I hadn't expected this. I had been waiting impatiently since I kicked ass answering his question on The Cure. The answer would be rewarded with a mixtape made by the man himself. The mixtape came today....as I've already mentioned. Man.....Kevin had made a great cover.......handmade. I looked at the tracklist. Only knew a few of the artists.... MORE
