Side one of this 12-inch plays at 45 RPM and is devoted solely to a song from the Seizure album, "Not Given Lightly," which is one of his most accessible (not to say Lennonesque) songs. Fans will be more concerned with the ten songs on side two, which plays at 33 RPM. Eight of the tracks are taken from his 1983 solo debut, Songs for Cleaning Guppies. These are more primitive and subdued than much of his later work, but just as experimental, and in some intangible way feel more personal. The disc is filled out with a couple of cuts from obscure New Zealand compilations.
