If you read this site regularly you know I’m fascinated with temporary team-ups, like Dave Lombardo playing drums for Metallica or Doc Coyle playing guitar for Lamb of God. I just love these little glimpses into some alternate reality where great bands traded great musicians. So here’s a good one: according to Metal Underground, Children of [...]
Could this be the greatest contest we have ever done? Why yes, it could. We want you to send in your best impersonation of guitar god Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom. What do we mean by impersonation? Exactly what it sounds like; you’re going to do whatever it takes* to create a video where [...]

Above is an interview we conducted with Alexi and Janne of CHILDREN OF BODOM right before Alexi injured his arm and had to leave the tour. Being the road warriors that they are, they have just booked an extensive US run in the Fall to get back out there and hairflip like no one else! [...]

Skeletons in the Closet is the first cover album by Finnish metal band Children of Bodom. Most of the tunes in the album have already been released, including the infamous Britney cover from their 2005’s Are You Dead Yet?. In fact, out of it’s 17 songs, only four are actually unreleased: Hell Is For Children, [...]
Bodom is hands down the best live band I've ever seen. A high energy show, I was sore for like a week. See them if you get the chance. Oh. This is tagged under Downfall because they closed the show with that song. I think there was another Hatebreeder song but I can't remember anymore. Oh well, Downfall owned.
