All Music GuideRendered obsolete by the B-sides and outtakes compilation Like Cats and Dogs, the first Show Me Mary EP has two delicately mindblowing extras in the form of "Car" and "Girl Stand Stil," sounding little like anything off the phenomenal Chrome LP. "Car" is Catherine Wheel at its most naked and intimate, a sparse gem. The eight minute "Girl Stand Still" is every bit as epic as "Black Metallic," a study in sparse atmospherics and tension building/releasing. Absolutely masterful.
