I had a rather bizarre experience today. A gig that started at 12.00pm. There was a 14+ show at the Barfly in Brighton today. Lineup was Cancer Bats + Johnny Truant + The Ghost of a Thousand + Hexes + Sigh and Explode. I must admit to only really liking Cancer Bats and The Ghost Of A Thousand. I had no idea that concerts took place at Playdium, but apparently Supernova has a deal that allows them to hold day-long outdoor concerts there, in the grassy area next to the go-carts that can hold a good-size crowd. This was a daytime event that showcased approximately 15 bands, closing the day with the Cancer Bats, a local hardcore punk band lead by Liam Cormier who sings about killing zomb...
