Clearly an episode of kismet. (Should that be capitalized, or am I just thinking of the musical?) Just before Christmas, my fine friend and fellow Pennsylvanian dharmachris posted one of my favorite Cab Calloway songs, "Everybody Eats When They Come To My House." Later that day, while scouring the CD racks at a local books 'n' music chain in our local consumer district in a vain attempt to find a Blossom Dearie CD for Mrs. Ivylander's stocking, I came across the source of ... so 911 really IS a joke. at least when this dude is calling...
special thanks to my girl for the heads up.
check out the full audio of his 911 call here. I would recommend getting high just to sit through this -- it takes a lot of mental fortitude to get all the way to the part here he asks what the score of the Red Wings game is.

My first exposure to music was tap lessons when I was three years old. When you're that young, you really just try to learn your right foot from left to music. I stuck with it for about 13 years and with the help of my mom (who was also my teacher), developed an appreciation of many of the great tap dancers. The Nicholas Brothers, Fayard and Harold, performed in many movies, the most famous routine being this, from "Stormy Weather." The first bit is Cab Calloway's band... MORE
