Not because she slept with someone else's boyfriend in the band, but because she wants to pursue fashion and other side-projects, CSS bassist IRA Trevian has left the hot Brazilian electro-pop group. Before starting up CSS Trevisan studied fashion design back in her homeland. The band's sole male band member and drummer Adriano Cintra will now step up to the bass, with a spot open for a new drummer.

104,086,072. That's how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. We kid! It's actually the new world record for most hits on YouTube, now held by CSS ' "Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex." Yes, the Brazilian hotties and one guy have surpassed the previous record (78,145,221) set by "Evolution of Dance." The Brazilian band Cansei De Ser Sexy never gets tired. In their rare moments of rest (they are currently in a European tour) they started to draft their second album. Their drummer and main composer, Adriando Cintra, said that CCS has about a dozen demo songs finished, but they will begin to record next year. I'm totally digging this song right now. Haha, music is all that and more to me. CSS is pretty good. I've been listening to them a lot these past couple of days. Crazy. On another note, my new school schedule suxxx! That's what I get for waiting til the last fucking minute. I told myself I would never sign up for a Saturday class again and the first thing I did was sign up for a Saturday class. Ugh, three hours of speech. Eesh, can't wait.... MORE

So, I need some help from CSS fans :
Today, Tiny Mix Tapes (the blog that first dropped the news about Can albums going digital) posted an email message that he received from Ms. LoveFoxxx, crooner/screamer for CSS . This message reads like a very sultry tour diary in prose. It mentions the Noise Pop in "San Fran-disco", so it's probably newly composed. Newly composed is the furthest from what you'll be after reading this!

2Great debut album - has the feeling of a band still learning their trade and not scared to take chances. It mostly works and is proving to be one of my albums of the year. Has a feel of Blondie, early Talking Heads, B52s a sort New York type of feel from the 70s and 80s but brought bang up to date. Definately worth a listen.... MORE
