Burt Bacharach will be honored with a lifetime achievement Grammy award, at a ceremony one day before the 50th Grammy Awards February 9th, 2008. The Band, Doris Day, jazz singer Cab Calloway, classical violinist Itzhak Perlman, jazz drummer Max Roach and bluegrass banjo player Earl Scruggs will also be honored.
