As I still find myself unable to function normally (go figure, right) I find that can't conjure up the mental sanity to post anything of substance. I absolutely and completely love this album, from stutter and sip of the beginning the the crescendo of the finale. It is a masterpiece, and arguably my favourite album ever.

i just got home from birmingham. i drove for four hours, so i had a lot of time to think.
first, why was donna godchaux allowed to tour with the grateful dead? on every live recording i have heard, i can't stand the way she sounds. i will say that she's not half bad on some of their studio stuff, but live?
well, let's just say that she would never win american idol with performances like that.
