Nebraska's Bright Eyes are graduates from the Midwestern school of Britpop. With Fevers and Mirrors being their third full-length release, a strong adaptation of Radiohead, Blur, and Suede is conveniently wrapped up in a neat lo-fi package. But without completely ripping anyone off, Bright Eyes feature their own cadence of loose indie and shaky, emotional vocals. The results amount to a catchy collection of elaborate pop that's been perfectly captured on a nickel budget.
One of the most beautiful songs you will ever hear.

What's a fella to do?! (Refer to song for reference point)On a tangent, who likes making drunken phone calls? I'm thinking whenever I get my phone back I'm gonna let people know they should drunk dial me whenever they feel the urge. I love it when people do that, especially when I'm drunk as well.

So yeah, first "mog" as they call it here in the industry. Not really sure how this works or how it all will pan out, but I'm looking forward to meet people with similar music tastes and hopefully find some new music. Oh yeah, as far as finding new music is concerned, check out pandora.com. You'll thank me later.Adam

Now summer eyes and I are in the same art class, and in this class, we discovered a loophole in the system. I guess all artsy p...

*Dear The Decemberists and Bright Eyes,*It is just not fair. You KNOW that I haven't moved to DC yet. You KNOW it. So scheduling two concerts a few weeks apart from each other is *NOT COOL*, guys. First of all: I have to pick between the two of you, because I definitely cannot afford the tickets for both shows AND the train tickets AND the hostel rates AND the cost of drinks and food (oka...

Bright Eyes are terrific! Being the geeky music mong that i am i've finally decided to get my head together and become a fully-fledged mogger, too long have i surfed these shores without committing. However, since i am new to this lark you'll have to bear with me while i find my way. Hopefully, in mogging my way around this place, i'll be able to find some people who have similar music taste to...
