I usually listen to a CD before buying, but because I Ioved their first album Brazilian Girls so much, I ordered the second Talk To La Bomb as part of a book order. For some reason, their new sound is completely different and seems to be stuck somewhere between Zero 7 and Goldfrapp. Unfortunately, front girl Sabina Schiubba and her band of merry men, managed to make a sonic mess that's too hard to be chilled properly, but isn't danceable either.

This year's Austin City Limits was a great festival in so many respects: the weather was perfect (if a little hot), the crowd didn't set fire to the infrastructure, beer stands and bathrooms were represented at a decent ratio, and the good nature in general of Austinites meant that gently nudging to the front of even the largest crowd never once resulted in a firm elbow to the ribs (try that at any NYC or DC show!)
