All Music GuideIn the world of Brave Combo, not everything is a matter of accordion pyrotechnics and polka madness, though that does make up a considerable portion of their day. This compilation takes its twenty cuts (which include four variations of "Three Ducks," done here in waltz, polka, ondo and cha-cha forms) from the sundry other lives of Brave Combo, which includes a variety of collaborative efforts (though no samples from their recent collaboration with Tiny Tim), overseas productions, and a multi-artist album of poetry set to music. Mood Swing Music is a fun anthology that cheerfully traces a zig-zag path around the planet, once in a while springing up, accordion in hand, to throw a polka party.
