Ok I once believed myself to be a huge Brand New fan, but after buying their new album "The Devil and God are raging inside me" im very disappointed. All of the songs seem kind of...boring. Now don't get me wrong their previous albums were amazing. They never leave my car's cd holder. Like Deja Entendu, and Your Favorite Weapons, these albums are golden, but this new one...not so much. So somebody please tell me if I'm missing something in this new album, because I refuse ... MORE
My top songs of the day:
"Me vs. Maradonna vs. Elvis" by Brand New
"I'll Let You Live" by Taking Back Sunday
"Four Winds" by Bright Eyes
"Walking Is Still Honest" by Against Me!

One hundred foot faces
Of God's good ocean gone wrong
Rogue waves seldom, if ever, prowl close to land.
So tomorrow I see Brand New again. It'll be my fourth time seeing them, although I feel like the first time shouldn't count since A) I'd never heard them before, and B) I didn't particularly like them. I'm pretty excited, although I could care less about the new songs. Deja Entendu was such an important album to me, though...there are songs on there that bring tears to my eyes every time I hear them, and I'll just repeat them over and over...namely, The Boy Who Blocked His...
