So, today my music library surpassed the 12,000 song mark, currently at 12,017 songs which is about 59 Gigs worth of music. I feel like celebrating. That leaves me with roughly 13 Gigs worth of free space left on my external hard drive. Now I have to go spend $100 on a bigger hard drive. Seeing as this past Friday I had only 11,172 songs in my library, I am pretty sure I broke a record for most downloaded music in a 24 period (I didn't start downloading until yesterday... MORE
Of course, when I should be finishing songs for my next record (4 to go!) I'm mogging about songs I heard while driving. It is lovely to be flying along a ruraly road with the window rolled down, getting a country station in pretty clear. I have got to admit, I'm a country girl. Generally speaking, I know what to expect from a country concert. Still, this concert held a few surprises for me. When I recieved my tickets to this concert, the opening acts were listed as Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift, and Little Big Town. Hey if there's already a post about this, sue me. Yesterday I and the rest of the trucking community were paralyzed by another heartwrenching country ballad by Brad Paisley. It's hard to see the road when Brad croons "I'd like to check you for ticks." It don't get much better than this! Hand me that gun, please.
