i absolutely love boyz II men and i've been trying to get to a concert for the longest time and i can never seem to find any in my area... but i just found the best deal ever ! boyz II men are coming to six flags great adventure (in nj) this sunday (the 24th) and they're playing a concert that's free with park admission. i'm definitely going to go with my friends, spend the day in the park (always wanted to go ride king da ka...) and then see them!!! i just had ... This is another post brought to you by the combined powers of insomnia and nostalgia. A potent combo to say the least. And apparently even fire has a soft side when it comes to nostalgia. When I was first walking through what was left of my house last July, I found my high school yearbook from my senior year, miraculously untouched by the flames. So, here it is, the first installment of my weekly series of song reviews, Eric's (expletive) Song of the Week! and the winner is.... Boyz's II Men's "Water Runs Dry" Now, I know that this song isn't new or anything, but I have been listening to it all week long, and I'm not sure why. I mean, it's a great song (former number 1 hit!), but I have a LOT of good songs, and this one somehow beats all of them out when I'm choosing the next track. And then, I play it over... ... MORE

OK, so, usually, I'd have some witty bits before the review, but this song does too much to me, so I'll just go right into it. Boyz II Men are some of the best vocalists I have ever heard, and it seems that, by this point in their career, they have differentiated their individual sounds enough to spice up their songs a little. But that's not what grabs me about this song. I mean, it contributes, but in order to understand why this song does what it does to me, you have to ... MORE

Just wanted to drop-in to the MOGOS and say a quick, heartfelt 'thank you' to all those fellow MOGers that risked receiving loads of worthless junk e-mails for years to come from a random Clear Channel radio station 1000's of miles away from them so that they could cast a vote for Forged In Violet.
