This is from one of my favorite CD's. It's Bonnie Raitt in 1972 at a studio in Philly. It's all acoustic with a few musicians in front of a small audience. Her voice is amazing.
She does a great cover of this Steve Winwood tune. Enjoy!

I am not ashamed to admit that I can tune in to the sappy adult contemporary radio stations for a dose of nostalgia and enjoy it. It's not even an ironic nostalgia where I think back to the horrible music my mother subjected me to in the early and mid nineties and roll my eyes. I genuinely enjoy listening to Wilson Philips and that Boys to Men featuring Mariah Carey tune every once in awhile on those completely predictable stations.Amidst all the cookie cutter soft rock... I mean, I have as short an attention span as the rest of us. (well, maybe not that short...). I always forget stuff, and it's not like I sit around drawing her picture on the knee of my jeans in class. Why has my crush on her not worn off yet?
