This may come as a surprise to you, but Bon Jovi does not suck. I know, I was just as shocked as you, all this time, all these acid-washed years, I though they were terrible! All the signs were there: big hair, big choruses, a sensitive, yet tough growl and a slight country twang, cheesy, cliché songs about the road and America and havin' a good ol' time and findin' a gal and lovin' her real good. Bon Jovi's concert in Central Park this Saturday is free. But that isn't stopping some scalpers from selling tickets for as much as $1,500 a pair, despite a stipulation they cannot be resold. New York City has distributed 60,000 tickets, with each person limited to two freebies. So this month (June 19th) Bon Jovi and his band will be releasing their 10th album (Not including live albums or compilations). This raises two questions in my head: a) IS THIS GUY EVER GOING TO GIVE UP and; b) HOW MANY GENRES WILL THIS GUY COVER?
