Bobby Bare, Jr. is an American musician who has recorded albums Boo-tay and Brainwasher with his band, Bare, Jr. Bare's current lineup is called The Young Criminals Starvation League. They have released three albums, the self-titled debut album, From the End of Your Leash, and The Longest Meow. I have seen Bobby Bare, Jr. at least ten times in the past few years and I keep going back for more. The instrumentation is always different and he always changes up the songs. Love that.
I would have to say this show was the best of the year for me. He had a guy on organ/synth who did the double duty on bass a la Ray Manzarek. He also had a lap steel guy and a drummer. Bobby was on electric all night. They had a variety of elongated rockin' jams that were thunderous and... MORE
