Source: Wikipedia

Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman, May 24, 1941), is an American singer-songwriter, author, musician, and poet who has been a major figure in popular music for five decades. Much of Dylan's most notable work dates from the 1960s, when he became an informal documentarian and reluctant figurehead of American unrest. Some of his songs, such as "Blowin' in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'", became anthems of the anti-war and civil rights movements. His most recent studio album, ...Read More >

http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/6597661/16_blood_on_the_tracks Bob Dylan once introduced this album's opening song, "Tangled Up in Blue," onstage as taking him ten years to live and two years to write. All ten songs on the album were originally recorded at New York City sessions produced by Phil Ramone. With Columbia set to release the LP, Dylan pulled back at the last minute, and at year's end re-recorded five of the ten songs in Minneapolis with a crew of area session musicians assembled by his brother, David Zimmerman.
Sound quality is the expected for a mint condition acetate test pressing, but not as clear or sharp as could be a remastered studio tape. These songs are... MORE

Blog post image preview I just finished an article by Josh Getlin of the LA Times, about a new biography that unmasks the identity of Susan Rotolo, who at 17 was immortalized as the long-locked giggly girl snuggly onto Dylan's hunched side while they were trudging through snow on the cover 'Freewheelin Bob Dylan.'" The book, "A Freewheelin' Time: A Memoir of Greenwich Village in the Sixties," talks about the behind-the-scenes Dylan, a 20-year-old loose cannon who would scribble lyrics on... MORE

    The lonesome organ grinder cries,
The silver saxophones say I should refuse you.
