http://frimerman.wordpress.com/ This was Blue October's promo tour of their new album Approaching Normal. Blue October has grown their fan base into millions+ after the release of Foiled and songs like, "Hate Me" and "Into the Ocean."My guess is that the band will shed some of its newly acquired audience with this Album. Approaching Normal is experimental rock pushed to its edges. The loy...
So, for the first time since 2002, I went and saw Blue October the other night. The last time I'd seen them was at La Zona Rosa when Endochine opened up for them. They were drawing pretty well back then - well enough to fill up La Zona Rosa with 1200 alcohol starved drinkers, so this was interesting for me. First, the venue. Here's a shot that I took of it when I toured there earlier this year....
you stumble across just the thing you needed...I bought this album tonight and I'm halfway through it...I am tempted to stay up half the night and just wallow in it.thanks to "sdtnostd":http://mog.com/sdtnostd for posting about it tonight.

There's something cheezy about this Blue October number, I almost feel that I shouldn't like it, maybe it's not 'quality' or something. It must be one of those guilty pleasures, like having a crush on someone totally inappropriate.
