Doing some dull stuff today, so cranking the stereo to help the time fly is a priority. But then this comes on. I'm helpless and have to play it over and over - it keeps me off the dull stuff but I'm not getting anything done. Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton played together at MSG on Feb 26th - effectively half of Blind Faith. Eric Clapton is hooking up with another friend who's got "a rock n roll heart," Steve Winwood, for a three night run of shows at New York's Madison Square Garden. It will be like a mini-Blind Faith reunion but sans Ginger Baker and Ric Grech, the latter passed away in 1990. The last time Blind Faith played MSG was on July 12, 1969. Blind Faith, the ‘super group’ comprised of Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Rick Grech and Ginger Baker, released just one album, 1969’s Blind Faith. The controversial cover of Blind Faith. The group was supposed to take what Clapton and Baker had done in Cream to another level. OK ... my first post ... just started my page last night ...thank you rocknrollpimp ... what to do? When you are of a certain "age" you have all of the above. You have some vinyl that you also replaced with casettes, some casettes you replaced with CDs ... when does it stop?
