Great rock show last Saturday night at the Hiro Ballroom. The place was packed and the energy was pretty electric. I saw Blind Melon when I was in college in a bar with 12 people. No, Blind Melon's original frontman Shannon Hoon, who died in 1995 from a drug overdose, has not risen from the dead to reunite his band. While Blind Melon are reuniting, Hoon will have to be there in spirit, as new replacement singer Travis Warren will take his place. So I just got home from Columbus, OH. This night has probably been the GREATEST night of my life!!! Tonight Ashley and I went to the Blind Melon concert at The Basement, and it was GLORIOUS!!! I'll be damned if I don't have a few nightmares tonight. First I figured it would be due to the gent at the bottom of the post - Mr. Ed Gein.
