Bleeding Kansas
Formed in 2001, Bleeding Kansas hails from Burbank, CA, and comprises vocalist Ben March, guitarist David Watrous, bassist Jeremiah Bignell, and drummer Daniel Pouliot. Inspired by the early-2000s convergence of hardcore, emo, screamo, and metal, the quartet recorded their first EP with the help of scene acquaintance Kurt Ballou (of Converge), then followed it with a full album, entitled Dead Under Decor, in 2006.
