Moving past the obvious anachorism of Billy Talent III being their fourth album, technically speaking, there are a few more issues which cloud our mind here. Cards on the table time, this is an album we wanted to love. The staples of their second album, the one which reached the upper echelons of popularity, have been lodged in our collective consciousness for so long that they can now legitima...

Do you always pour scorn upon anyone indulging in fake plastic rock? Well, you can follow your own advice and actually play guitar on the new Billy Talent album. The Canadian punk band have thoughtfully concocted a version of the album known as Billy Talent III: Guitar Villain Edition.
Like your oddly chirpy melancholic pop-rock songs with a dose of flamed-throated vocals? Good, because Billy Talent the third are back. With their third album - appropriately dubbed "III" - due out on July 13, 2009, the Canadian boys have selected this track to be the lead single for the follow up to II (see what they've done here).
By: Natasha Pavlovic July 20, 2009 The boys of Billy Talent are back with their final installment of the Billy Talent trilogy -Billy Talent III. It's been three years since we've heard from these Mississauga musicians and it's safe to say not too much has changed in terms of sound. In all honesty, the album was nothing less or nothing more than I expected. How can there not be a review already? I mean really, the album has already been out at least 10 hours! I'm disappointed in you, fellow moggers. If you havn't gotten this album yet, go get it now. I'm not even kidding, turn your computer off and go buy it. Don't just download it, support the artist, I'm not saying I buy every single album, I'm all for loopholes in the laws. But this is actually ...
You guys are putting the hurt on me. My metal tastes wete forged back in them ancient 70's. Guess I kinda moved on, because, reviewing the music at hand, the pickings are slim."Now", a co-worker told me, "If you don't listen to anything else (in her stack of discs), listen to THIS one" while stabbing a forefinger down on the Billy Talent II disc. Glad I listened to her. I don't think you'd call...

Heading off to the park to partake of the humungous Canada Day cake, make sandcastles, and wave our little flags - nodding politely and making way for each other of course. We know how to have fun. I was going to play Leonard Cohen, but he's so broody - here's Billy Talent instead ... the long Canadian winters obviously didn't take the fire out of them!
