On this CD maxi-single, containing four tracks and running nearly 26 minutes, Mick Jones introduced the new B.A.D. II to an American audience (Kool-Aid had done that job in the U.K. the previous fall) in advance of its upcoming album The Globe. The title song, which, in a shorter version, became the group's first U.S. chart single, had the straightforward rock 'n' roll thrust of Clash hits like "Should I Stay Or Should I Go," exactly what Jones had avoided in B.A.D. (Of course, he still found space for spoken-word inserts and samples, including one from The Who's "Baba O'Riley.") The disc also contained two alternate versions, the eight-minute "Rush Dance" and a live performance, plus the non-LP song "City Lights."
