The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down is an American Classic now. The Band's Potrait of the southern dirt farmer and his shattered post civil war lament has become part of the Great American Songbook.
Big Country recorded this track in 1994 with guest volcalists Kim Mazelle, Carol Laula & Steve Harley.
