Only a few months have passed since the last Bibio LP came out [june 22, 09]. Ambivalence Avenue was a wonderful mix of dancefloor beats and r&b inspired guitar folk. Remember Drivers Education in High School, and being subjected to video tapes that were produced in the 1970's and the audio tracking on said videos always sounded wonky -- not to mention just straight weird? We'll upon first listen to Bibio's latest release, "Vignetting The Compost", that was the first image that popped into my mind and made me smile. That only is worth a post in my opinion....

There are many, many ways to manipulate sound and it would seem that no one does it quite like Bibio. Every single song contained within Vignetting The Compost is a laudable piece of artistic work that deserves respect and appreciation for each and every detail which the music includes.
