All Music GuideWhile Benny Goodman's big-band projects of his later years overly relied on re-creations and revisits to earlier successes, his small-group work gave the clarinetist a much better opportunity to stretch out. This double LP matches the 63-year old King of Swing with tenor great Zoot Sims, vibraphonist Peter Appleyard and a strong rhythm section for an enjoyable set of standards.
