Not sure if this topic went around already, but I'd like to bring it up... I remember when I was real young and Beck's "Loser" came out. I HATED IT. I thought it was the worst excuse for "music" ever to hit the airwaves. (Of course, at the time, Ace of Base and Hanson were in my 'boombox'...but we really don't have to go there...)Now when I hear "Loser", I couldn't imagine my life without it. It's a great song. So I am rearranging and cleaning. Another scorcher party friday night here . I find Beck's Loser single. Oh boy... great shit. The unreleased shit is the bong! The second rack "Totally Confused" is a very poignant and stirring acoustic ballad. The third "Corvette Bummer is classic Beck Hop with lines like "I wanna walk around town with a can of whiskey" and "gonna dance like a rock" and my fave - "gonna take my shoes right off my feet and smell my socks."
